A hundred years from now
it will not matter what my bank account was
the sort of house I lived in
or the kind of car I drove
but the world may be a little
different because I was important in the life of a child.
It's a dreary day - cloudy and snowing again and only 30 degrees.
I'm tired, feeling sorry for myself, and I want Spring to come!

Beautiful poem!

I love that one. I had it posted on my mirror for many years when I was a teacher. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today too, even thought the weather in my neck of the woods was beautiful. Must be going around.
Thanks for lovely poem, and it is so true. The first official day of Spring is tomorrow. Like you, I am so ready for sunshine and blue skies.
